Electric mobility is starting to gain traction in Uruguay’s vehicle fleet. After two years of rapid growth, light electric vehicles now account for just over 2% of the fleet, a proportion that was practically negligible until recently. This report presents the latest electric vehicle sales data, estimates of mobility costs by charging method, and a description of the charging infrastructure network available in the country.
