Demand for Supergás (LPG) in Uruguay fell by 7 % last year, the sharpest decline in more than a decade and bringing consumption to its lowest level since 2015. At the same time, the price increased by 21%, registering the largest variation since 2011. Given these significant changes in an energy source relevant to the country’s domestic sector, this report aims to analyze these trends and investigate possible causal links between these changes.
