This year, 440 GW of new renewable energy will be installed worldwide, the largest annual increase ever. This figure is equivalent to the combined installed capacity of Germany and Spain, and represents a 32% growth and 107 GW compared to what was installed in 2022. This report elaborates on some of the points made in the “Renewable Energy Market Update” report presented in June by the International Energy Agency.
